Connecting platforms: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, VK, RuTube, Telegram

How to connect accounts for auto-publishing, the limitations of each platform and how to set up your schedule.

To let the service publish for you, connect your platform accounts. Connections use the platforms’ official authorisation: you sign in on the platform’s site and grant access. We never receive your account passwords, and the access tokens we get are stored encrypted.

General steps

  1. Open “Project settings → Publishing → Accounts”.
  2. Click “Connect” next to the platform.
  3. Sign in on the platform and confirm access.
  4. Back in the dashboard, click “Test” to check the connection works.

You can revoke access at any time with “Disconnect” or in the platform’s own security settings.

Honest notes on limitations

Many platforms require apps that publish on users’ behalf to pass developer app review. Until review is passed (or while it is repeated), the platform may limit publishing — for example, videos go out as private or only to test accounts. Each connection card shows the platform status. If something is limited, we say so plainly — and you can always download the video and post it manually.

YouTube Shorts

  • Connect a Google account with a channel.
  • Vertical videos up to 3 minutes are published as Shorts.
  • Choose visibility (public, unlisted, private) and scheduled publishing.
  • The altered or synthetic content flag is passed if you enabled it on the video card.
  • Daily upload quotas are set by the platform; at high volumes posts are spread across days.

TikTok

  • Connect a TikTok account.
  • Until app review is passed, the platform may allow private posts only.
  • The AI-generated content label is passed according to your flag.
  • Advertising videos may require TikTok’s branded content label — enable it on the card.

Instagram Reels and Threads

  • You need a professional Instagram account (business or creator) linked to a page.
  • Reels are published from vertical videos; Threads accepts text and video.
  • App review requirements apply here too; limitations are possible until it is passed.

VK Video

  • Connect the profile or community the videos will be published from.
  • Publishing to clips and community videos is supported.

RuTube

  • Connect with a channel token: get it in your RuTube channel settings and paste it into the dashboard.
  • Videos are uploaded to the channel with description and cover.

Telegram

  1. Add our bot as an administrator of your channel with permission to post messages.
  2. Enter the channel name (for example, @my_clinic) in the dashboard and click “Test”.
  3. Videos are posted as video messages with a caption.

Webhooks

If a platform isn’t listed, use a webhook: the service sends an event with the video, caption and metadata to your URL, and your system publishes it. This is how videos are handed off, for example, to Pinterest publishing tools. See API and webhooks.

Publishing rules

In “Settings → Publishing” set for each platform:

  • Slots — publishing times, e.g. 10:00 and 18:00;
  • Minimum interval between posts;
  • Daily cap — no more than N videos a day;
  • Account — if several are connected.

An approved video takes the next free slot on each selected platform. You can move posts in the calendar.

When a post fails

The post card shows the reason: expired access, exceeded quota, file rejected by the platform. Reconnecting the account usually helps. “Publish now” retries manually.

Next steps

  • Warnings and ad marking — before your first advertising post.
  • Analytics starts collecting after your first posts.
